There are no set dates of enrollment and no fixed days for graduation. IOU has a very relaxed admission policy. Examinations are held three times a year in the months of June, November and February in the second week of the given month.

IOU follows a flexible session method. One has to pass required number of papers in order to earn a degree. For example MBA has eight papers. One has to clear all eight papers in one year or can clear in eight years. After completion of every paper, a certificate of completion is awarded. The degree of MBA is awarded only upon the satisfactory completion of all eight papers.

International Open University is designed for working adults who cannot afford time and money wise to attend the traditional colleges and universities. Therefore IOU's entire degree process is self-paced, student centered and self tailored. We have taken the education to learner's doorsteps without disrupting their daily lives. We refuse to impose the rigid, artificial time limits on enrollment and study sessions.
